Strawberry gummies – Keto/Low Carb Desserts

Sour Strawberry Gummies

Unfortunately, most store-bought gummies are made with artificial preservatives and dyes. So I decided to make my own homemade strawberry gummies which only needs 3 ingredients and 10 minutes of prep work!

Strawberry gummies

I used strawberries to make them as I wanted to have red sour gummies. But simply replace the strawberries with the fruit of your choice! if you prefer other berries (For instance, you can use simply replace the strawberries with the fruit of your choice! or blueberries or raspberries)

Start by blending fresh lemon juice and strawberries in your blender (until you get a thick, viscous liquid). Next, pour the liquid into a saucepan, and whisk in the collagen and honey until everything is combined.

Continue whisking for 5 minutes in low heat (until the collagen is fully dissolved, and the liquid is thin). Remove the saucepan from the heat. The liquid will be foamy. Simply with a spoon remove the foam.

Pour the liquid into silicon molds. Then just wait for at least an hour while it chills in the refrigerator (until the gummies are firm)!

How to make homemade strawberry gummies

The main ingredient for Sour Gummy Bears is real fruit: blueberries, strawberries, oranges. The sweetness comes from the honey and fruit, so there are no artificial flavors or sugars.

Just with gelatin, these Sour Gummy Bears are set. I recommend using a unflavored gelatin and good quality grass fed. You can easily substitute the gelatin for Agar Powder and the honey for agave to make vegan gummy bears. Read more on Agar
